the weekend was just plain-exciting/ smashing awesome, what with saturday filled with CT's wedding + "class crystal jade lunch" (pics later)

and sunday with the annual (?) ANIFEST!!! (FIRST TIME IN SG??!!) and as usual, pictures say a thousand words, i'll let the pics do the talking. NOTE: This is part one of more posts to come (as soon as i get pics from jiawen and oon from the various events!)

arriving there at the meeting time, i realized there was some miscommunication and that the cosplay event wouldnt start till 1230 (supposedly) so i stoned around till 1030 outside waiting for the others to come, at the same time stalking a few cosplayers.

imo the sasuke hair was dam screwed up -.-" but his coustume made up for it. naruto and sakura were pure badness though.

waiting outside the exhibition hall was pure toture as i watched the crowd starting to stream in. the best way to put it was like i was a child on christmas eve who could not wait for christmas to come so i could rip open that package!

finally having waited 30 minutes i could not stand it and decided to buy the ticket myself and have a look around.

and MY GOD. the first thing that struck me was the bandai booth which had gundams and ben10 toys. and beside it was what made my eyes water.

A MEGA PWNAGE GUNDAM EXHIBIT.

mouth-watering life size gundam exia from gundam 00, havent watched it yet though so im not so hyped about it. at the base you can see all the adverts the stall owners have schemingly placed. its a convinent and smart move cos the gundam is RIGHT at the ENTRANCE.

no surprises for guessing where this is from. 2 of my favourite gundams in an EPIC scene.

freaking chio DESTINY. I MUST HAVE ONE. ALONG WITH THE FREAKING CHIO AKATSUKI I SAW IN TAKA (apparently they were having some exhibit also) on saturday OMGOMGOMG.

the last award winning one, some shiny beetle thingum which i cant identify.

next up was some figurines exhibit.
the only oon-ish pic i will ever post cos this is from evangelion. (got more other figurines in various other MORE SUGGESTIVE poses). its funny/weird to see other perverts otakus frenziedly snapping pics of these figurines -.-"

some ridiculous game that's supposedly the hottest toy in jap now. basically what it does is a stop watch that you must stop at exactly 5.000000000000000000s to win the game. how exciting.

dgrayman! i think imma gonna stop watching it already though. i dun think i have time for animes -.-" manga will have to do.

my fav team of the day, shippuden naruto group. no prizes for guessing who was my fav. THAT's DAM RIGHT, ANBU KAKASHI. LOOK AT HIS IMBA HAIR. I MEAN OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. wonder how long/ how much hair wax he spent on that wig. (is that even a wig?) that hair is 10/10 okayyy.

he has sharingan contacts btw, and so does the hidan which has some slitted eyes thingum. damn cool. i definately MUST GET the ANBU MASK the next time i go jap or sth. omg.

some random katekyo hitman pics (dun reli watch it much so i wouldn't know) just got to say katekyo hitman dam popular in SG. its the most cosplayed anime there i think.


akatsuki randomly "raping" some random girl? lol. just thought it was funny. did i mention i want/ NEED an akatsuki cloak badly?

btw was standing at some stairs cos the crowd was too imba and couldnt see anything without having to tiptoe the whole show. but anyway we didnt miss much. -.-"

from this pic you can see our crappy view. the cosplay competition was a complete waste of time. they had random so called final fanatasy (more like final FATasy) and KH who ended up singing random disney songs including WTF HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL?!?!? complete waste of time. they supposedly invited some imba popular jap composer. i guess the show totally threw sg's face in the cosplay arena. -.-"
