When i first saw this quizzythingum on sengky's blog, i saw the words:"Pudding" and then... I saw "shinyi" lol. Don't ask me why. Maybe my brain compartmentalized and automatically grouped the 2 together. (random: tell me how can i not lump the 2 together when she puts i (l) pudding on her msn nick)

Okay, that's for the random part.

I'm rather pleased to annouce that i have completed my Twilight reading endeavour in my past 2 days of waiting/stoning at the dental clinic. Took quite a long time to finish the book due to random things popping up here and there and sometimes cos the contents were rather erm. squirmish.

And i thought the descriptions of how godly/angelic/perfect Edward was was already bad enough... But at that time i hadn't gotten to the dating scenes yet. And that was a totally different subject matter. One that involved vivid descriptions of touchystuff, etc. -.-"

Ok anyway besides the very obvious theme of a very forbidden(?) (not to mention dubious) love between some average city-girl-stuck-in-a-miserable-town and some incredidably too good to be real vampire (and all the aother random fantasies), it also made me think about envy and jealousy.

Envy is different from jealousy in the sense that envy operates from the position of the person accepting the fact that one is unable to achieve or possess something or a trait and yet admires and wishes he/she has it. but jealousy operates from the position that one does not accept the fact that the other person is deserving of whatever possession or trait and denies the fact that he/she is inferior.

Okay sounds quite mangled aiya i can't express it properly, but you'd get the idea right.

Just got back from extremely last minute cny shopping and realized something during the time i was there. I realized that I'm a person whose thoughts and feelings are easily swayed by people (maybe not by alot but quite easily persuaded). For eg, when someone says so and so is so very so and so. At first, I may not think of so and so this way, but after someone mentions it, I'll tend to notice the so and so aspect more acutely. Okay quite little link but i found this much alike how i can be easily swayed by the fact that I saw a pair of Converse that I was not very obsessed with (like the i-kinda-like-it but can-do-without-kind) but after the salesman said that it was like out of stock i suddenly found myself desiring it more. -.-"

Maybe that's the kind of person I am, desiring what that's not very easily obtainable. Call it delusional or tenacity. it's the same with ... my tree t-shirt and the elusive charlie pace loafers... amongst many other things.

okay fav song of the moment time. i know it's kinda old. when i first saw the mv i was kinda unimpressed cos the singer looked like she tried to make up for what she lacked in the looks department by wearing less. oh well's its a nice song lah (found out later)
